A calendar page you actually look forward to turning. This is our Golden Retriever collection for 2027: one-page yearly calendars, a full set of twelve monthly pages, and everything else golden we make this year, all on one page and all free to print at home on US Letter or A4.
Goldens have been America's family dog for half a century for a reason - the soft mouth that carries a slipper without a mark on it, the tail that never stops, the way they lean their whole weight against your leg. These calendars are for the people who share a house with one, or who wish they did. Pick a design below, print it, and put a little of that face on your wall.

How to Print Your Golden Retriever Printables
Every sheet on this page is free for personal use. Click Download PDF for a print-ready file sized for US Letter (A4 works too - choose "Fit to page" in the print dialog), or Print to send the sheet straight to your printer. Plain paper is fine for a desk or a fridge; a heavier 28 lb / 110 gsm sheet stays flat on a wall and takes color better.
The monthly calendars come in matching sets of twelve, so you can print the whole year at once with Full 2027 Year PDF, punch two holes along the top and hang the stack on binder rings - or take it to a copy center for spiral binding. New Golden Retriever printables are added to this same page, so bookmark it and check back.
About the Golden Retriever
The golden retriever comes from the Scottish Highlands. In the 1860s Dudley Marjoribanks, later Lord Tweedmouth, wanted a gundog that could bring back waterfowl from cold rivers and rough hillside, and he bred a yellow wavy-coated retriever with a Tweed water spaniel, then added Irish setter and bloodhound to the line. The dog he ended up with - strong swimmer, steady nerves, a mouth soft enough to carry a bird without bruising it - is very nearly the dog sitting on your kitchen floor today. The breed reached the United States in the early 1900s and has been among the most popular dogs in the country for decades.
Temperament
Almost everyone who meets a golden says the same thing: they are simply happy to see you. Goldens are friendly with strangers, patient with children, tolerant of cats, and quick to learn - which is why so many of them work as guide dogs, therapy dogs and search-and-rescue dogs. That same eagerness means they do not do well left alone all day; a golden wants to be where the family is, ideally with something in its mouth. Expect a dog that greets guests with a shoe, a toy or a sock, offered as a gift.
Size, coat and care
Males stand about 23 to 24 inches at the shoulder and weigh 65 to 75 pounds; females are a little smaller. The coat runs from pale cream to deep red-gold, with a dense water-repellent undercoat and feathering on the legs, chest and tail. It sheds all year and heavily twice a year, so a good brush a few times a week is part of the deal. Goldens need real exercise - a long walk, a swim, a game of fetch - every day, and they are food-motivated to a fault, so watch the treats. Most live 10 to 12 years.
A few things you may not know
Goldens are famous swimmers: the webbing between their toes and the oily outer coat were bred in on purpose for retrieving from cold water. Their "soft mouth" is real - a well-bred golden can carry a raw egg without cracking it. When the AKC created the Obedience Trial Champion title in 1977, the first three dogs to earn it were all golden retrievers. And they are natural collectors: many goldens will pick up and carry an object to greet you, then walk around the house with it for a while before deciding where it belongs.
