A unicorn calendar has one job: to make someone smile every time they check the date. This page collects our free printable unicorn calendars for 2027 - full-year sheets first, with more unicorn printables added as they are ready. Every sheet is a soft, storybook scene with the whole year laid out beneath it: a mother and foal walking a rainbow above the clouds, little ones riding a pearl-trimmed carousel, a window that looks out on all four seasons at once, a telescope under a starry dome, a crescent-moon cradle where a foal sleeps beside a baby dragon, and a sleigh ride under the northern lights.
Every calendar here is free, sized for US Letter paper, and prints from any home printer. The grids are clean and easy to read - Sunday to Saturday, all twelve months on one page, nothing printed over the dates - so there is plenty of room to circle birthdays, school breaks and sleepovers. Hang one in a child's bedroom, a nursery or a classroom, or put it on the fridge. Pick a scene and hit Print. No sign-up, no watermark across the dates.
Unicorn Yearly Calendars 2027
Twenty one-page 2027 calendars with unicorns in every season: cherry blossoms and a peony garden for spring, a hot air balloon ride and a mermaid bubble for summer, pumpkin pie and falling maple leaves for autumn, star cookies by a warm oven and a sleigh ride under the northern lights for winter. All twelve months fit on one US Letter sheet below the picture, in large, clear numbers a child can read. Print one for a bedroom door, a homework desk or a classroom wall.
How to Print Your Unicorn Printables
Every sheet on this page is free for personal use. Click Download PDF for a print-ready file sized for US Letter (A4 works too - choose "Fit to page" in the print dialog), or Print to send the sheet straight to your printer. Plain paper is fine for a desk or a fridge; a heavier 28 lb / 110 gsm sheet stays flat on a wall and takes color better.
The monthly calendars come in matching sets of twelve, so you can print the whole year at once with Full 2027 Year PDF, punch two holes along the top and hang the stack on binder rings - or take it to a copy center for spiral binding. New Unicorn printables are added to this same page, so bookmark it and check back.
About the Unicorn Calendar
The unicorn is older than most of the stories told about it. Around 400 BC the Greek physician Ctesias described a wild animal in India, as large as a horse, with a single horn on its forehead, and for the next two thousand years scholars wrote about it as if it were real. Medieval merchants sold narwhal tusks as unicorn horn at prices that outran gold, princes drank from cups said to reveal poison, and around 1500 weavers produced The Hunt of the Unicorn, the famous set of tapestries that now hangs at The Met Cloisters in New York. Scotland took the unicorn as its national animal in the Middle Ages, and it still stands on the royal coat of arms - in chains, because legend held that a free unicorn could never be tamed.
The soft pastel unicorn with a rainbow mane is much younger. It grew up in the toy aisles, sticker albums and bedroom posters of the 1980s and has never really gone out of style. Today unicorns turn up on lunchboxes, birthday cakes and nursery walls, and they are one of the few themes a four-year-old and a grandmother can agree on.
What is on these sheets
Each sheet is a whole little world. Two foals dance out of an open music box among roses and pearls. A foal in a blue beret paints a portrait of a fox in a field of sunflowers. Another, in round glasses, reads a picture book by lantern light in an old library with a kitten at its side. There is a baby unicorn greeting a hummingbird at a jungle waterfall with a capybara for company, a teddy bear and a bunny riding a toy train, a mermaid mother and foal inside a floating bubble beside a seahorse, a hedgehog sharing pumpkin pie next to a harvest cart, heart-shaped hot air balloons drifting over a valley at sunrise, and a fawn meeting a foal on a stone bridge under the cherry blossoms. The colors stay gentle - pinks, lavenders, creams and gold - so the calendar sits nicely in a room instead of shouting over it.
A year of unicorn days
A unicorn calendar deserves a few special dates to circle. National Unicorn Day is April 9, which falls on a Friday in 2027. International Children's Book Day on April 2 is a good excuse to pin up the library sheet. National Hot Air Balloon Day comes on June 5, Teddy Bear Day on September 9, and National Cookie Day on December 4 - the perfect week to hang the bakery scene with its tray of star cookies.
Why a unicorn calendar
Because for many children it is the first calendar they actually want to read. A picture they love brings them back to the page every morning, and the grid quietly teaches them the months, the days of the week and how many sleeps are left until a birthday. For grown-ups, a unicorn on the wall is a small daily reminder not to take the year too seriously. If there is a unicorn scene you would love to see here, let us know - this page keeps growing as new sheets are ready.
