A nature calendar is the oldest kind of wall art there is: a window onto somewhere you would rather be. This page collects our free printable nature calendars for 2027 - full-year sheets first, monthly sets below, and more landscape printables added as they are ready. Every sheet pairs a photo-real American landscape with a clean twelve-month grid: snowy peaks over a trout stream, a redwood grove cut by morning light, fireweed on the shore of a glacier bay, saguaros at sunset, a cypress bayou waking up under Spanish moss.

Every calendar here is free, sized for US Letter paper, and prints from any home printer. They belong in a kitchen, a cabin, a home office, a classroom, or on the wall of anyone who counts the days until the next trip. Pick a view and hit Print. No sign-up, no watermark across the dates.

Nature Yearly Calendars 2027

Nineteen one-page 2027 calendars, each topped with a photo-real American landscape: alpine meadows and glacier bays, redwood groves and fern creeks, the Pacific coast at sunset, a saguaro desert, a Louisiana bayou at dawn, the badlands under a storm sky. All twelve months on a single US Letter sheet, framed to match the scene – pine and pinecones, maple leaves, shells and waves, ice crystals, a Southwestern blanket. Pick a place, print it, and keep the view all year.

How to Print Your Nature Printables

Every sheet on this page is free for personal use. Click Download PDF for a print-ready file sized for US Letter (A4 works too - choose "Fit to page" in the print dialog), or Print to send the sheet straight to your printer. Plain paper is fine for a desk or a fridge; a heavier 28 lb / 110 gsm sheet stays flat on a wall and takes color better.

The monthly calendars come in matching sets of twelve, so you can print the whole year at once with Full 2027 Year PDF, punch two holes along the top and hang the stack on binder rings - or take it to a copy center for spiral binding. New Nature printables are added to this same page, so bookmark it and check back.

About the Nature Calendar

The landscape calendar is an American institution. For more than a century, banks, feed stores and insurance agents handed out free wall calendars every December with a painted mountain or a covered bridge above the grid, and a great many kitchens had one hanging by the telephone. The scenic photo calendar took over in the 1960s, when color printing got cheap and national park photography got good, and it has never really gone away. The sheets on this page carry on that tradition, only now the printing happens at home.

What is on these sheets

The views are composites rather than postcards of one exact spot, but each one is built from a real kind of American place. The granite peaks and lupine meadows belong to the High Sierra and the Rockies. The mossy creek under big trees and the sunlit redwood grove are the Pacific Northwest and the northern California coast. The cove with sea stacks and golden poppies is Big Sur; the pink rhododendrons over a sea of misty ridges are the Blue Ridge in June. The saguaro and ocotillo desert is the Sonoran country around Arizona, the tidewater glacier with fireweed on the shore is coastal Alaska, and the cypress swamp with water lilies and an egret is the Louisiana bayou at first light. The badlands under a storm sky and the prairie with black-eyed Susans are the Great Plains. Each frame around the grid echoes its scene: pinecones and topographic lines for the mountains, maple leaves and acorns for fall, shells and waves for the coast, ice crystals for the fjord, a woven blanket pattern for the Southwest.

A year in the landscape

Nature keeps its own calendar, and it is worth writing a few of its dates into yours. Dogwoods and redbuds open in the Appalachians in April, mountain wildflowers peak in July when the snow finally leaves the high meadows, and fireweed turns the Alaskan roadsides pink in late July and August. The sugar maples of New England usually reach full color in the second week of October, while the aspens of Colorado go gold two or three weeks earlier. The Perseid meteors fall over every one of these landscapes around August 12, and the first snow dusts the Sierra crest by late October most years. National Park Week in April and Public Lands Day in September bring free entrance days across the country - good ones to circle.

Why a nature calendar

Landscape photographs on a wall do something measurable: studies of hospital rooms and offices keep finding that a view of trees and water, even a printed one, lowers stress and lifts mood. A nature calendar is the cheapest version of that view, and it changes with the year. These sheets are made to be printed at home and hung in a kitchen, a cabin, a dorm room or a cubicle - one page, all twelve months at a glance, and a place you would like to be standing right above them.
